Welcome to GESEC R&D Inc.

GESEC R&D Inc. produces, characterizes semiconductor materials and semiconductor devices for optoelectronic applications. In particular, it provides studies concerning the behavior of solar cells, detectors, lasers in space conditions including irradiation effects and degradation induced by energetic particles in space. It produces self-supported  epitaxial GaAs layers suitable for X-ray detection and is developing new X-ray imaging detectors, which can be used as medical, security, control and sorting imaging.
